01

How does selling by weight work in Zopping?

Mark the product as sold by weight, then add weight options such as 250 g, 500 g and 1 kg, each with its own price. A customer picks a weight and your stock goes down by that amount.

02

How is stock tracked for weight-based products?

Every weight option draws from one stock total for the store, counted in kg (up to three decimal places). So a 500 g pack and a 1 kg pack together use 1.5 kg.

03

Which products suit selling by weight?

Anything you weigh out rather than sell in a fixed pack. Common examples are fruit and vegetables, grains and pulses, dry fruits, meat and fish, and sweets.

04

How do pickers handle weighed items?

Turn on the picker setting for sold-by-weight items. Pickers then pack them as separate units, so two 500 g packs of tomatoes are picked and bagged as two items.
