Can I sell loose rice, dal and vegetables by weight?
Yes. Mark the product as sold by weight and add choices such as 500 g, 1 kg and 5 kg, each with a price. They all draw from one kg total of stock. Staff enter the packed weight, and the customer pays for that weight.
What if an item is out of stock after the customer has ordered?
The customer chooses at checkout: replace it with a similar item, remove it, or call them first. You group similar products as substitutes. The picker acts from the picker app, and the rest of the order carries on.
How do delivery slots work for a grocery store?
Set slots for each store and limit how many orders each can take. A full slot disappears at checkout, and you can block one when you are short of staff. You can also add an express slot with its own charge.
Can I set a minimum order value for grocery delivery?
Yes. You can set one amount for delivery and a different one for store pickup.
How do I keep stock right if I also sell at the shop counter?
Bill walk-in customers on Zopping POS. Counter sales and online orders reduce the same stock for that store. Low-stock alerts reach you before shoppers see a product as out of stock.
How do my staff pick and pack online grocery orders?
They use the Zopping picker app on an Android phone. Pickers check each item, weigh loose ones, swap anything missing, then pack and print the label. Riders then deliver with the rider app and record any payment taken at the door.
Can I offer buy one get one or a discount on bigger baskets?
Yes. You can give a free or discounted item when customers buy another, or run a deal once the cart passes an amount. Offers can reduce the cart total or the delivery charge, and coupons can be used with them.
Can each of my grocery stores deliver to its own area?
Yes. Every store has its own delivery area, set by pin code, map shape or radius, along with its own slots and stock. A customer outside a store’s area can’t order delivery from it.
