Keep price and availability current for each product in each store. This is the day-to-day companion to Sync your catalog — catalog defines what you sell, this keeps price and stock live.

The model

Price and stock are per store, held on an item (productId + storeId). Set mrp, discount and stock; mark unlimitedStock for made-to-order goods.

Adjust stock relatively with stockDelta instead of sending an absolute stock — useful when you only know the delta (a sale, a restock).

The catalog read also returns live price/stock when you pass storeId — see storeSpecificData in the Catalog reference.

Audit changes

Every stock movement is logged. Pull the trail to reconcile:
